What is the cost of your employees’ sickness absence?

February 22, 2016

One of the hottest HR topics for 2016 is staff wellbeing.

Recent research from the CIPD (the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) has shown that the average cost of sickness absence per employee has increased to £554 a year.  Coupled with that, a recent PricewaterhouseCoopers report has stated that there is “a wealth of evidence” showing links that staff who benefit from their company’s well-being initiatives also help improve the bottom line performance.

These days, it is recommended that companies shouldn’t have a “one size fits all” approach, but that well-being initiatives should be tailored towards individual’s preferences and requirements.  There are many cost effective options in the market place  which allows both organisations and employees the level of flexibility required to maximise impact.

At Karen Wise Consulting Ltd we have helped a range of organisations develop their well-being strategy.    We can help you support your staff and develop a range of well-being initiatives.   Please contact us if are interested in knowing more about improving your staff’s wellbeing.
